ARC Hippotherapy aims to improve the quality of life for those with movement dysfunction, learning disabilities or other additional needs by providing high quality physiotherapy supported by equine movement.
Hippotherapy is a specialised form of physiotherapy which works in collaboration with the horse’s movement to achieve desired responses in a participant.

Running Pattern
Day/time: Monday afternoons, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Sessions: On Murphy, the mechanical horse

When: All year round

Day/time: Friday mornings, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Sessions: In the Arena, working with ponies and horses
​When: September to Early December, including October school holidays (about 12 weeks) - ​Late February/Early March to Easter (4-6 weeks) - ​After Easter break to the end of June (10-12 weeks).

When the conditions are too cold and not suitable for our participants to ride in the arena, we provide sessions on our mechanical horse, Murphy.
